The
primary mission of our Library is to collect, organize,
and disseminate information to serve students, faculty
and other staff on roll of the college to meet their
educational, professional and recreational needs. Being
the central hub of the teaching learning process of
the College, the library caters to the educational needs
of the academic community.
The College Library was established in 1994 at the very
inception of the institution. The General Library of
this college having a independent building of 3600 sq.
feet and having a separate MCA/MBA library of 3400sq.
feet. The Library is well ventilated, lighted and aired
to facilitate comfortable seating. The Library is fully
computerized allowing functions like issue, return,
OPAC search, and availability assessment of books, easy
and user friendly. We have bar-coded our document collections.
Library houses more than 19076 books and subscribes
more than 100 journals and magazines. Library follows
open access system and the books are well stacked in
accordance with International Dewey Decimal Classification
System. Library Membership is offered to the current
students and staff of the college.

Rules and Regulations:
Members
on entering should record their details in the
Gate Register.
Members
must carry their Identity cards to gain entry
and use the library and must produce it when required
to do so by an authorised person. The card must
be used only by the member to whom it is issued.
Silence
must be observed in and around the library. All
types of combine studies and group discussions
are prohibited in the library. The use of mobile
phones in the library is prohibited.
A
member who has lost his borrower's ticket shall
make a written report to this effect to the Principal
and pay a fee of RS. 15/- for the duplicate ticket
required.
Members
are not allowed to sub-lend the books of the Library
or transfer the use of the privileges of their
tickets.
Members
shall not bring personal belongings and library
books issued to them inside the library stock
room. Adequate storage facilities have been provided
at the entrance to
the Library.
Members
must, on receiving the books, examine them and
report to the library staff any damage found therein.
If they fail to do so they will be held responsible
for any damage detected afterwards.
The
Principal reserves the right to suspend the membership
of any member found misbehaviour, abusing the
library staff or behaving in an indecent manner.
All
members of teaching and non-teaching staff should
return books borrowed from the library before
they proceed on long period leave and obtain a
non-due certificate from the library.
Absence
from college will not be accepted as an excuse
for not returning the books in time.
Before
leaving the counter, the member shall satisfy
himself as to whether the book lent to him is
in sound condition and, if not, shall immediately
bring the matter to the notice of the Librarian;
otherwise he is liable to be held responsible
for the replacement of the book by a sound copy
or to pay its cost and other charges.
If
a book is not returned to the Library when due,
an overdue charge of Rs.1/- per volume per day
shall be levied.
