Department of Physics was established in the academic year 2007-08 with B.Sc. Physics degree under the self-financing scheme. Over the 10 years department has evolved into the Post-Graduate department (2015) of MES COLLEGE, MARAMPALLY. The Department caters to the academic needs of hundreds of physics aspiring young minds. Department has a fully furnished UG and PG lab. The department is able to help students in carrying out research oriented UG and PG projects, lecture series, seminars and programs to instigate scientific attitude and research culture among the student community. Science popularization programs like Sky watch and exhibitions have always added pace in the path of progress of the department.

MISSION
The course and curriculum offered by the department helps students to gain firm foundation and to acquire insight to the physical world. Main aim of both PG and UG course is to help students to focus on the subject and to think within and beyond the syllabus.
