IPR Cell

The Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Cell is focused to recognize the importance of intellectual property by its teachers and students. The objective
of the IPR Cell is to create awareness and provide guidance to faculty, students and research scholars on the practices and the rules of institute regarding intellectual property rights and obligations within the frame work of the IPR policy of the institute.

An IPR cell has formed in the institution on November 26, 2015 based on the staff council decision of August 5, 2015.

Objectives

  • Conduct of Seminars/workshops on Intellectual Property rights to create awareness among students and teachers
  • Promotion of start-up ventures and ED club activities to instigate an innovation ecosystem in the campus
  • Provide legal support to the inventor to safeguard their intellectual property
