Water Testing Lab

The Department of Biosciences runs a Kerala State Pollution Control Board accredited Water Quality Analysis Laboratory with state of the art facilities such as Laminar air flow safety cabinet, Autoclave, Hot air oven, Bacteriological incubators, pH Meter, Membrane filter apparatus etc. The lab offers analysis of various water quality parameters such as colour, odour, turbidity, pH, microbiological parameters such as total coliform counts and presence of E. coli. The service is provided throughout the year to the public at a nominal charge of Rs. 500/- per sample.
