Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at MES College Marampally established in 2004 is the cornerstone of the institution’s pursuit of academic excellence. It operates as a guiding force for Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Enhancement (QE) activities. Over the years, it has seamlessly integrated into the institution’s framework. It identifies strategic aims, outline actions and initiatives for impactful results. This strategic framework guides institutional approach to education.
The IQAC diligently manages quality across all college activities, aiming to sustain and elevate the institution’s quality parameters. It ensures the efficiency and effectiveness of measures, leaving no room for compromise. Furthermore, the IQAC nurtures the teaching-learning process, meticulously documenting the achievements of faculty and students.
IQAC coordinates the stakeholder feedback, which is a valuable compass for improvement, helping the institution evolve continually. The IQAC also charts year-wise action plans, providing strategic direction. Its Curriculum Monitoring Committee conducts internal audits, offering insights and recommendations.
In essence, the IQAC embodies the institution’s unwavering commitment to excellence. It nurtures a culture of quality, fostering growth for both faculty and students. In its care, future leaders are molded, poised to illuminate the path of knowledge and wisdom for generations to come.

Objectives

  • Enhancing Academic and Administrative Performance: The primary goal is to establish a system that fosters conscious, consistent, and catalytic efforts aimed at improving the overall academic and administrative performance of the institution.
  • Strategic Planning: To meticulously chart a comprehensive plan of action for every department, cell, and club, while formulating effective strategies to ensure optimal outcomes in their respective domains.
  • Coordination Hub: Serving as the central coordinating agency within the college for all quality-related activities, ensures seamless collaboration among various stakeholders.
  • Fostering Academic Research: To promote and facilitate quality academic research and publications among both students and faculty, thereby fostering a culture of academic excellence.
  • Advice Priorities in Investment: Advice on selection of priorities to invest continuously in physical and digital resources to ensure students are supported to reach highest levels of engagement and achievement to meet the contemporary demands. Innovative teaching learning resources are identified and steps are taken to introduce them in the campus.
  • Stakeholder Involvement: Encouraging active participation from all stakeholders in initiatives to ensure and maintain high-quality standards across all facets of the institution.
  • Student Engagement: Student views are prioritized by establishing institution wide annual feedback surveys. Our strategy is to develop students as self-motivated independent learners equipped with skills, knowledge and confidence for future employment.
  • Professional Development and Recognition: Outstanding student learning experience is underpinned by outstanding teaching. IQAC acts as a catalyst for widespread dissemination of new ideas and development of teaching knowledge and skills, in the form of organizing Faculty Development Programmes, International Conferences/Seminars for staff and students. Faculty members are encouraged to participate in academic events hosted in the campus and other institutions.
  • Engaging in Quality Rankings: Actively participating in and contributing to various quality rankings like NIRF, ARIIA, IIC, and more, thereby bolstering the institution’s recognition and standing in the higher education landscape.
  • Annual Quality Assurance Reporting: To prepare and submit the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) to the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), outlining the institution’s commitment to quality assurance.
  • Information Dissemination: Disseminating valuable information on diverse quality parameters in higher education to keep all stakeholders informed and engaged.
  • Database Management: Developing and maintaining an institutional database through Management Information Systems (MIS) to facilitate the continuous enhancement of institutional quality.
IQAC
