Daan Utsav, also recognized as the ‘Festival of Giving,’ is not merely an occasion; it represents an enchanting annual journey that takes place in the first week of October, where individuals from diverse backgrounds unite to partake in acts of kindness and volunteer work. ‘Daan Utsav’ is a nationwide initiative led by various non-governmental organizations, all working towards a shared goal of spreading the spirit of generosity. ‘Bhumi’ is one of the NGOs responsible for coordinating this event in Kerala, and the Kerala Scout Guide Fellowship (SGF) is collaborating with them.
